Privacy policy

This policy explains what Experienx Technology Corporation collects through experienx.com and our mobile apps, why, and the choices you have.

Last updated: September 4, 2026

Who we are

Experienx Technology Corporation ("Experienx", "we") is a technology consultancy and software developer based in Houston, Texas. We are the data controller for personal information collected through this website and the mobile apps we publish.

What we collect

Website. When you use the contact form we collect the name, email address and message you provide. Our hosting provider records standard server logs (IP address, browser type, pages requested) for security and reliability.

Spam protection. The contact form is protected by Google reCAPTCHA v3. The reCAPTCHA script is not loaded with the page: it is fetched only when you first interact with the form, so reading this site sends nothing to Google. Once loaded, Google receives your IP address and your interaction with that page in order to score the submission as human or automated, underGoogle's privacy policyand terms of service. We receive only the score, never the underlying signals.

Analytics. We use Google Analytics 4 to understand how the site is used — which pages are read, roughly where visitors come from, and whether anything is broken. It sets cookies in your browser (_ga and _ga_*) that distinguish one visit from another. Google processes this on our behalf and receives your IP address to derive an approximate location; GA4 does not store the address itself.

What we have turned off. Google Signals and ad personalisation are disabled on this property, so your activity here is not added to Google's advertising profiles and we do not use it for advertising. We do not sell or share this data.

Opting out. Block cookies for this site in your browser, useGoogle's opt-out add-on, or use any content blocker — the site works exactly the same either way.

Mobile apps. Each app we publish has its own policy, because they differ in what they hold and where it goes:Cultivate Life, which keeps everything on your device, and Flipping Faces.

How we use it

To respond to your enquiry and carry out engagements you ask us to.

To operate, secure and improve the website and our apps.

To meet legal, accounting and regulatory obligations.

We do not sell personal information and we do not use it for third-party advertising.

Legal basis

If you are in the EEA or the UK, the GDPR requires us to name the ground we rely on for each purpose.

Legitimate interests (Art. 6(1)(f)) for answering enquiries, keeping the site secure, preventing spam, and measuring how the site is used. Our interest is in running a business that can be contacted and knowing whether its website works; the information involved is what you chose to send us plus aggregate usage. You can object at any time, and the analytics opt-out above needs no permission from us.

Contract (Art. 6(1)(b)) where the exchange leads to an engagement and we need your details to perform it.

Legal obligation (Art. 6(1)(c)) for accounting, tax and records we are required to keep.

Sharing

We share personal information only with service providers who process it on our behalf, under contracts that limit their use of it, or where the law requires it. For this website that is a short list.

Microsoft. Contact form submissions are delivered to our mailbox through Microsoft 365. Enquiries live in that mailbox; we do not copy them into a database.

Google. reCAPTCHA on the contact form, and Google Analytics across the site, both as described above.

Our hosting provider, which serves the site and keeps server logs.

We do not sell or share personal information as those terms are defined by California law, and we have not done so in the preceding twelve months.

Retention

Contact enquiries: 24 months from your last message to us, then deleted, unless the exchange has become part of an engagement record we are required to keep for accounting or legal reasons.

Server logs: 90 days, for security and reliability.

Analytics: held by Google under the retention period set on our property, after which visitor-level records are deleted. We hold no copy of it.

App data: stays on your device until you delete the app or clear its data. See each app's own policy.

Where we operate

Experienx is based in Houston, Texas, and our services are offered to businesses in the United States. This site is not directed at individuals in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, we do not offer goods or services to people there, and we do not monitor anyone's behaviour there. On that basis we have not appointed a representative under Article 27 of the GDPR.

The contact form is nevertheless open to anyone with a browser. If you write to us from the EEA or the UK we will handle what you send as described on this page, including the legal bases and rights set out above — voluntarily, rather than because we have concluded the GDPR applies to us.

International transfers

Personal information you send us is processed in the United States. Where information does move from the EEA or the UK to us or to our providers, the transfer relies on the European Commission's standard contractual clauses, together with the UK addendum where the UK GDPR applies. Microsoft and Google both operate under those clauses. Ask us and we will point you to the details.

Your rights

Whatever law applies to you, one email toinfo@experienx.com starts any of this. We do not charge for it and we will not treat you differently for asking.

Everyone can ask for a copy of what we hold, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it.

In the EEA or UK you can also object to processing based on legitimate interests, ask us to restrict it, and ask for your information in a portable form. We respond within one month, as the GDPR requires. If you are not satisfied you can complain to your national data protection authority - in Ireland the Data Protection Commission, in the UK the Information Commissioner's Office - and you do not have to come to us first.

In California you can ask what categories we have collected, request access or deletion, and opt out of sale or sharing. We do not sell or share personal information, so there is nothing to opt out of, and we respond within 45 days.

Do Not Track

Some browsers send a Do Not Track signal. There is no agreed standard for how sites should answer it, and we do not respond to it differently.

We do, however, honour Global Privacy Control. If your browser or an extension sends that signal, analytics does not load on this site at all — nothing to opt out of, and nothing for you to click.

What we can tell you is the scope of what we do: analytics cookies measure how this site is used, and nothing more. We do not follow you onto other sites, we do not build advertising profiles, and Google Signals and ad personalisation are switched off. If you would rather not be counted at all, the opt-out options above take effect immediately.

Third parties across other sites

California asks us to say whether anyone else can follow you beyond this site. Two Google services run here: Analytics on every page, and reCAPTCHA once you interact with the contact form. Both can recognise a returning browser, and reCAPTCHA is used on a great many other websites — so Google is in a position to associate your visit here with visits to those, under its own privacy policy rather than ours.

What we control, we have turned off: the settings that would feed your activity here into Google's advertising profiles are disabled, and we neither receive nor use any cross-site data. No other third party collects anything about you on this site, and we run no advertising pixels, tag managers or session recording.

Children

Our website and apps are not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top shows the latest revision; material changes will be noted on this page.
